Local Funding Formula Presents Challenges
This is an interesting article from Edsource which states that the Local Control Funding Formula has closed funding gaps but not the equity gaps in schools and districts. One of the issues and challenges is the currently low base grant which makes it difficult for district who have duplicated populations to try and build programs to suit the needs of students.
